Ottawa

We, My friend Pete, and my son went to the Ottawa War Museum on Friday, it was pretty good. got a few good pictures, the 2 pictures of the destroyed German Stug show it as I think more than battle damaged, from the number of holes I think it was used for target practice.

The Nebelwerfer picture will be of particular interest to my doll collecting friends it is clear proof that the "DiD" 1/6th Nebelwerfer is indeed correct in showing only one rocket loaded into the tubes. ha ha.

I also thought the Panzer II parked right beside a Russian T-34 was a interesting sight.

There was a T-72 on display in the museum as well set up in a little action scene, but because it was so huge, there was no way to get a real angle to get a good picture of it.

And lastly I took a picture of the price of gas when I returned home from my trip, for our American friends that is roughly a little over $4 a gallon...

Old Fort Henry.

Took the kids today to see Old Fort Henry in Kingston, it was pretty neat. Missed a whole load of good pictures but here are some of the better ones I got. The small cannon I believe is called a Carronade, similiar in effect to a shotgun. the larger one is a 24 pounder. We had a great time and learned a lot.

My House,

Here is a picture of my house, just before we moved in, in June of 2003, and a picture now. I am still not happy with the lawn, but I suppose that is ok.

E-Test madness.

My Birthday is coming up, thankyou, thankyou, anyways. I get a "Birthday card" from the Ministry of Transportation, I need my new sticker and I need a E-Test.

Well, I take my trusty old truck in, a 92 Explorer, and they tell me it has a exaust leak and can't even be tested, and they estimate the repairs at $480.00 so I tell them I will think about it and I leave with my truck.

Long story short we went car shopping, I have decided that I need a car, no longer will I ride high above the masses looking down upon them, So I brought this car home on a overnight test drive, I am happy with it, and all the money stuff is approved.

This car is 1/1 scale.
