Mortar Team,

On top of my stereo stand I set up a little scene, a diorama if you will, and every month or so I rotate my troops through it, Here is this months little scene, two SS men operating a German 8cm mortar ( Granatwerfer 34 ) the loader is wearing a winter parka in field grey and the assistant is wearing a similar parka but with the Italian army camo scheme.

Man Dollys

Well, here is my first entry. I have been collecting dolls now for about 7 years. When I was little I had G.I Joes. the 12 inch, 1/6th scale ones. but they are all gone, a angry little boy smashed them all, oh yeah, that was me, anyways then a few years ago I was at Toys R Us and they had a G.I Joe Modern Desert soldier, so I bought it, just thinking I would just get the one, and put it by my computer and it would remind me of the old days.

Needless to say, it didn't end there, then I found there were companys that made very realistic World War 2 figures, now I have about 70 of them and several vehicles.

My main focus is German SS soldiers, I know, they were nasty, but they had the coolest uniforms and gear, I also have a section or squad of British Paratroopers, and a group of British SAS soliders equiped for the North Africa campaign. I also have a few British Royal Marine Commandos, as well as 2 German Paratroopers, (Fallshirmjagers)

Oh, and some Dirt Footed Ivans as well,, as can be seen in the below picture,

Russian Defenders.
