Old Fort Henry.




Took the kids today to see Old Fort Henry in Kingston, it was pretty neat. Missed a whole load of good pictures but here are some of the better ones I got. The small cannon I believe is called a Carronade, similiar in effect to a shotgun. the larger one is a 24 pounder. We had a great time and learned a lot.

I just stopped by here because I saw your icon in someone's coments (gorthos). Who is that person, do you know? It looks like Angelo Moore of a band called Fishbone, but it's so small it's hard to tell!

It is "Eddie the Ead" the Iron Maiden mascot, I simply hot linked the icon from the Iron Maiden website, I am not sure this is the proper way to do it, I think I have to figure out where I can host the link on my own, but for now I suppose it is ok,
